The Ibrik – coffee extraction Turkish style
Demonstration of the preparation of coffee by means of the Ibrik, a pot specially designed to prepare a particular type of coffee widely consumed in parts of Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
The saucepan, which can be made of metal, brass, copper or ceramic, has a long handle and a rim specially designed for serving coffee.

Cupping session with eight coffees from plantations in Rwanda
Coffee expert Andrej Godina leads a cupping session with eight coffees from plantations in Rwanda and specially selected for the final espresso draw.
The event is part of the collaboration project signed between the Trieste Coffee Association and ICU – Institute for University Cooperation to raise awareness of coffee produced in the African state and is aimed at roasters and importers.
